Mission!

So I'm on a mission. Never in my life, have I ever said I'm on a mission.

I'm on a mission to have a community dance space in Baltimore. One that I can walk to, and work at, and dance at. A mission so that that area immigrant communities can teach their younger generations dancing, such as Greek dancing, Swing, and Mexican Folkloric.

Yes, I probably a fool.

I'm not an idealistic person. So very much jaded, and sarcastic, and caustic, every second of my life (hours away from being 33). And yet, this mission while probably being foolhardy, is so Awesome.

Yes, its anal for me to wonder when I have an interview, but when the person called saying she wanted to set up a time, and then I call and leave 3 messages, and she still hasnt gotten back to me, IS THAT JUST A BAD SIGN OF THINGS TO COME! I'm just trying to leave, I need to leave.....

Birthdays

What the hell. I have no clue what the plan is. Everyone is asking me about it, yet most everyone will not be able to celebrate it. I've had enough horrible birthdays in my life and I can't seem to make up my mind about this years. jesus...... I guess after some point, your birthday becomes ho hum, but really, that just sucks......

In any case, I already know its going to be a small shindig. And I guess it's going to be held over multiple days too, since coordinating one thing seems an impossibility....dammit....

Namby Pamby Co-Workers. Yes Namby, Pamby!!!

Most younger people are like "what the ***k is namby pamby?!?!".

You know, if you are working in a general office setting, you tend to think that most everyone there, has some level maturity. Hah, well at the very least, not living life, like a 4 year old. But yet in this ridiculously shamefully too too TOO PC office, some co-workers can't seem to do the intelligent thing. Now I know I'm not the most sensitive of people, HOWEVER, when you waste your time complaining to every one in the office, instead of complaining to the offending party. You are a freaking namby pamby! Get over yourself and grow up!

Sucking my life dry...

Of course I'm talking about work, and the evilness that is my employer. Everyone has their complaints, I know, I understand. But putting up with their shit day in and day out, of course you're going to blog about it. And believe me, the shit I have put up with and tolerated is beyond comprehension. But then again, I'm the sucker still here.

Hence, my problem. I AM STILL HERE!! I have finally kicked my ass enough to actually apply for something new, hopefully exciting, and less stressful then where I am at now. One can only pray, or stupidly naively think that.....

New roomate.....

So, having discussed it for a millennium, the husband and I finally adopted a dog. Having never owned a pet, this experience leaves me at times perplexed, especially when the dog looks at me, as if he's thinking. What about, I have no clue. However he is so adorable, playing the role of the scrappy, newest member of our home.
